Senior Purchase Engineer

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies.  Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of business.  Take up Strategic purchase & Vendor Development activities.  Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.  Handling import & purchase related activities.  To source international vendors for material supply and new vendor development  Assesses foreign suppliers of goods, analyzing performance and satisfaction in terms of pricing, supply, delivery, and quality.  Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.  Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power  Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking  Assess, manage and mitigate risks.  Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers  Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
