Job Description

Assist with development and maintenance of network documentation

Monitor backup jobs across multiple platforms and locations

Maintain backup policies and standards

Troubleshoot performance problems and propose solutions

Maintain all equipment for backup environment to include servers disk and tape storage devices

Follow and maintain in-house documentation for repeatable processes

In addition to the backup responsibilities, the position will also be responsible to resolve datacenter service requests, build and decommission servers, and support production datacenter operations

Provide Tier 3 NetBackup support via a ticketing system including restores, troubleshooting and assisting server and database administrators

Analyze reports and resolve backup errors and incidents

Develop scripting solutions for backup and restore processes
