Intern

Autoliv, a global leader in automotive safety systems, is seeking a motivated Purchasing Intern to join our Gebze plant. We manufacture and market airbags, seatbelts and steering wheels. This internship offers practical, hands‑on experience in purchasing and procurement activities within a manufacturing environment, supporting cost control, supplier relationships and material availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the purchasing team with day‑to‑day procurement activities, including preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

• Assist with supplier communication and follow‑up to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.

• Contribute to supplier evaluation and onboarding processes, including collection of documentation and basic compliance checks.

• Support cost analysis, price comparison and sourcing activities to identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Familiarity with basic procurement concepts; experience with ERP or purchasing systems is desirable but not essential

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• A motivated, solution‑oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn
