Job Title: Escalation Manager

Job Overview:

The Escalation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing escalated issues within the organization, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. This role involves collaboration with various teams to address and resolve complex problems, as well as implementing preventive measures to minimize escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Issue Resolution:
  • Manage and oversee the resolution of escalated issues, ensuring a swift and effective response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and address root causes of escalated problems.
  1. Customer Communication:
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated issues, maintaining clear and transparent communication with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Provide regular updates and status reports to all relevant parties.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Identify trends and patterns in escalated issues to develop and implement preventive measures.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to improve processes and systems, reducing the likelihood of future escalations.
  1. Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of escalated cases, including timelines, actions taken, and resolutions achieved.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures for handling escalations.
  1. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with customer support, technical support, and other relevant teams to streamline communication and issue resolution processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their ability to handle and prevent escalations.
  1. Performance Metrics:
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to escalation management.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on trends to leadership.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their concerns and expectations regarding escalated issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
