Job Description

What would you do?

You will be aligned to our Financial Services, banking, Insurance, and Capital Market vertical which

is focused on helping clients with their tax preparations, insurance coverage, and investment

portfolios. You will be working as a part of the Risk & compliance team which is responsible for

helping clients and organizations identify risks and create mitigation plans. The Know Your Customer

(KYC) Operations team is focused on processing high, medium, and low-risk cases of corporate or

retail customers of a bank or financial institution in order to fulfil geo-specific regulatory KYC

requirements. The team is responsible for reviewing documentation for new customer accounts,

reviewing new product proposals and analyzing risk and compliance issues relating to these

products. The role may require for you to perform verification of client data ensuring compliance with

international regulations and internal policies and perform due diligence checks on clients such as

Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).

• Years of Experience: At least 1+ years in BFS with 1+ year experience in Retail and Corporate

KYC or OCDD operations. Requirements:

• Educated to Degree Level Relevant financial service experience, ideally within risk, compliance or

financial crime.

• Familiar with a wide range of external data sources and third-party systems to be covered as a part

of the due diligence process.

• Experience in identifying UBO, performing IDV and Screening

• A good understanding of effective risk management

• Experience of working with high risk client groups

• Knowledge of the regulatory environment is highly desirable

• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail and strong research skills and experience with the

Internet and on-line research systems

• Detail oriented, with the ability to work independently and multi-task effectively

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Flexible to work in rotation shifts, time management, and ability to prioritize and work effectively to

tight deadlines

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data gathering and analyze the gathered data for all Simple cases

• Responsible for ensuring KYC checks (ID&V, UBOs, etc.) and completing basic customer Due

Diligence

• Conducting PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons) screening and adverse media checks

• Compliance with regulations and attainment of client specific processing requirements Conduct

customer outreach wherever applicable to collect missing or inadequate information as per

requirement set out in SOP
