Network Engineer LII

Job Description :-

• Perform migrations and change management on existing customer circuits (IP/MPLS services) during critical planned events and downtimes, ensuring activity completion with proper pre-check and post-check as per the Migration SOP.

• Verify the configured or migrated customer services (L3 VPN, L2 VPN, Internet) against the deliverable parameters.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any post-migration issues where service pre-check and post-check results do not match.

• Work in shifts depending on Planned Activity schedules.

• Perform configuration, migration, and verification of services primarily on Cisco, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent, Huawei, and Juniper devices.

• Clean up all service configurations from old router ports after successful migration.

• Ensure zero network and customer outage during or post-migration due to configuration issues.

II) Person Specification:

a) Essential Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (Telecommunication/ Computers) or equivalent degree with min. 4 yrs of experience in networking.

b) Requisite Skills:

 • Technical

Sound knowledge of IP/MPLS and MPLS based VPNs. Excellent knowledge of Network Fundamentals, Routing protocols (Static, BGP,OSPF) and Switching. Configuration and troubleshooting skills on Cisco and Alcatel Lucent/Nokia routers is a must ,IPSec VPN knowledge, Network device configuration and maintenance experience in an organization of repute
