Job Description
JD - Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure they align with business goals.
Create detailed requirement specifications, including user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
Facilitate meetings, workshops to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Ensure clear and effective communication of requirements to the development team.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and update functional and non-functional specifications.
Create and manage traceability matrices to link requirements to test cases.
Collaborate with architects and developers to design solutions that meet business needs.
Ensure that the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices.
Review and validate the implemented software against documented requirements.
Participate in testing activities, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.
Assess the impact of changes to requirements and assist in change management processes.
Manage and prioritize change requests to maintain project scope and timeline.
Seek opportunities to optimize processes and improve the efficiency of requirement gathering and analysis.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
Leverage your knowledge of supply chain management and familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) within the automotive industry to drive project success.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
Business Analysis Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
5 to 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, modeling tools, and project management methodologies.
Knowledge of software development processes and technologies.
