Job Responsibilities:
- Successful candidate will assist the chipset program manager, project analyst, and program team by managing complex task assignments, platform enablement, budgeting and tracking, schedule creation and maintenance, and metrics tracking.
- Regular consolidation of project status update and assess potential challenges to schedule
- Must understand project constraints and then recommend solutions or changes to Plan of Record (POR) within the scope of project boundaries. Identify, document, and track progress of POR and provide appropriate action or support to ensure closure of open items
- Communicate and interact with multiple engineering functions, Procurement, Marketing, Operations
and other departments to assess and report latest factors and/or requirements affecting the build schedules and project deliverables
- As such, the Program Analyst should be able to foster and maintain excellent working relationships across a myriad of individuals and teams. This includes, managing SAT/Foundry inventory of raw material required for builds, monitor/ track overall logistics, analyze impacts for supply changes to overall project objectives and work with the Sales and Operations teams to help align supply builds.
- Work with Platform Solutions PMs and demand Analysts to ensure the onĀtime builds and delivery
of development platform hardware. Regular participation in weekly forecast and allocation meetings and based on progress, assess and report HW forecast status to chipset and allocation teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum qualification:
o Min. 4-5 years in the following areas is required
o Creating and managing complex program schedules
o Working experience of product life cycle management
o Planning and scheduling that involves Digital, RF, Analog and Power Management IC's
o Proficient with MS Excel, Agile, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project
- Additional qualification:
o Knowledge of wireless standards is an added advantage
o Excellent oral and written communication skills & presentation skills required
o Excellent team interface skills and work under tight timelines
o Excellent analytical skills
o Must function self-sufficiently with little direct supervision
o Sufficient technical competency to participate in discussion, add value to program and resolving issues
o Ability to understand key technical issues and extract information by asking appropriate questions and validating information prior to publication
o Ability to apply critical thinking and interpersonal skills to practical situations
o Prefer Program management experience.
o Semiconductor industry experience preferred
