Tool Room Supervisors/ Asst. Manager Tool Room

This position is responsible for die preventive & Break down maintenance . Builds, fabricates, & repaire tooling , fixtures & other components as necessary to ensure the support of the plant production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities. ·         Responsible to maintain the performance of dies assigned to him. ·         Participate in significant Improvement Projects. ·         Handling of Emergency breakdown of al type of dies (E.G. Draw, Trim, blank, pierce form etc.) ·         Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on all tooling assigned to him and fills out the pm sheet. ·         trouble shooting of dies during production. ·         Maintain safe work environment on the shop floor & follow all Magna safety norms. ·         Break down maintenance of dies in house. ·         Coordination with Tool Room supervisors from time to time . ·         Handling of Conventional M/c . Like Milling, drilling, Lath, surface grinding, Welding ( arc, tig, mig) , flame hardning, and Crane etc. ·         Involve in new Tool Trails & die commissioning ·         Maintain Cleanliness  on shop floor. ·         Modifies dies & tooling to confirm to engineering changes. ·         Perform all other duties as required.
