Associate Trainer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform independently and build expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.

• Deliver engaging training sessions on manual testing, automation frameworks, and modern testing practices.

• Design and develop learning journeys covering Selenium, API testing, Playwrite, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-driven testing approaches.

• Collaborate with SMEs to continuously update training modules aligned with evolving trends like Shift-Left, DevOps, and Agentic AI in testing.

• Provide innovative solutions to learning and project-related challenges with practical, real-world use cases.

• Mentor and coach learners and junior team members on best practices in automation, coding standards, and testing strategies.

• Contribute to the creation of assessments, coding challenges, and certification frameworks.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics; recommend improvements.

• Drive adoption of automation-first and quality engineering practices across learning programs.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Functional Test Planning and Test Strategy Design

• Hands-on experience in Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python)

• Experience in building or using automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD frameworks)

• Strong understanding of test case design techniques and execution methodologies

• Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaboration workflows

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Understanding of DevOps and Shift-Left testing practices

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

• Exposure to AI/GenAI in testing, including prompt-based test generation and intelligent automation

• Basic programming/scripting skills for automation (Java, Python, or JavaScript)

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Additional Information

• Minimum of 3+ to 5 Years of experience in Functional Testing and/or Test Automation

• Experience in training, mentoring, or knowledge sharing is a strong advantage

• Location: Bengaluru and Chennai
