Job Description

1. Technical Support

  • Provide first-level and second-level support to users

  • Troubleshoot hardware issues (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners)

  • Resolve software problems (OS errors, application crashes)

  • Support remote users via tools like Remote Desktop or VPN


🔧 2. Installation & Configuration

  • Install and configure:

    • Operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)

    • Software applications (MS Office, antivirus, etc.)

  • Set up and maintain:

    • Desktop/laptop systems

    • Printers and other peripherals

  • Perform system upgrades and patches


🌐 3. Network Support

  • Assist with basic network issues:

    • LAN/WAN connectivity

    • Wi-Fi troubleshooting

  • Configure IP settings, DNS, and network access

  • Support VPN connectivity for remote users


🛡️ 4. Security & Compliance

  • Install and update antivirus software

  • Apply security patches and updates

  • Manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights

  • Ensure systems follow company security policies


🗂️ 5. Asset & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of IT assets (hardware/software)

  • Track system allocation and lifecycle

  • Manage warranty and repair records


🧰 6. Troubleshooting & Maintenance

  • Diagnose and fix system issues quickly

  • Perform regular maintenance (disk cleanup, updates)

  • Replace faulty hardware components
