Job Description

1. End-User Support

  • Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues

  • Handle support requests via calls, emails, or ticketing systems

  • Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues


2. Hardware & Software Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners

  • Perform OS installations and upgrades (Windows, macOS, Linux)

  • Install and configure business applications and tools


3. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Diagnose and resolve system errors, crashes, and performance issues

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN) problems

  • Provide quick resolution or escalate complex issues to higher-level teams


4. User Account & Access Management

  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts

  • Manage access permissions using tools like Active Directory

  • Reset passwords and ensure access compliance


5. IT Asset Management

  • Track and maintain inventory of IT assets (desktops, laptops, accessories)

  • Ensure proper asset allocation and documentation

  • Coordinate hardware replacements and upgrades


6. Security & Compliance

  • Install antivirus and ensure endpoint security (e.g., Microsoft Defender)

  • Apply security patches and updates regularly

  • Follow IT policies and ensure compliance with security standards


7. Remote Support

  • Provide remote troubleshooting using tools like TeamViewer or AnyDesk

  • Assist users working from remote locations


8. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of issues, solutions, and configurations

  • Update knowledge base and troubleshooting guides

  • Generate reports on incidents and resolutions
