As a Senior Workday Technical Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Biogen's Workday platform.
You will leverage your expertise in Workday technologies and integration methodologies to deliver scalable and efficient solutions that meet the needs of Biogen.
You will collaborate closely with funcational analysts & cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions, and support the ongoing optimization and enhancement of the Workday ecosystem.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Workday Technical Specialist, with hands-on experience in Workday integrations (Doc transform & Studio), custom report development, and system configuration.
- Design, develop (maintain), and deploy integrations between Workday and other systems using Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Workday Extend?, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Configure and customize Workday business processes, reports, and security settings to align with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields in Workday to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and compliance with Workday release schedules.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize the performance and reliability of the Workday system.
- Stay current with Workday updates, new features, and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
- Strong understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security model.
- Proficiency in Workday integration technologies such as Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Experience with Workday APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
